New NDR Line

Four new lightweight, multi-discipline saddles designed for off-road use

Prologo’s NDR line expands with four new saddles that are lightweight, comfortable, and versatile—designed for cross-country and marathon mountain biking. Completing this product line — which now includes round, semi-round, and flat saddles — are three models with PAS cut-out and one with Active Base technology: the new Dimension R2 NDR, two versions of the Nago NDR (with and without PAS), and the new Scratch NDR PAS, the open version of the iconic “T-shape” model.

More comfort on the trails, both uphill and downhill.

All the new NDR models share technical features that appeal to off-road riders tackling trails and mountain bike routes, as well as road and gravel cyclists seeking performance saddles with enhanced comfort.

Wider and flatter nose for a larger contact surface when pedaling on the tip in an aggressive, forward-leaning position.

3mm thicker padding made from next-generation variable-density foams for improved comfort.

Grip Cover technology, a new saddle cover material that improves on-saddle
stability and enhances bike handling.

Saddles developed in collaboration with the top cross-country and marathon teams

The new NDR saddles were developed in close collaboration with top-level professional teams (XC and marathon), who tested them in both races and training sessions, providing valuable feedback that helped finalize the designs now available on the market.

Notable teams involved include: Cannondale Factory Racing, Team BMC Factory Racing, Lapierre Racing Unity, Wilier-Vittoria, Origine Racing Division, and BH Coloma Team.

Grip Cover technology to improve stability

Designed specifically for off-road disciplines like XC and marathon MTB, the NDR saddles feature a micro-grooved surface texture on the front section. This pattern enhances stability during powerful pedal strokes. The new texture improves control on uneven terrain or in wet and muddy conditions. The embossed design offers excellent grip and positioning without restricting side-to-side movement, ensuring freedom for dynamic riding.

The Nago NDR, Now in Two Innovative Versions

The Nago NDR, a semi-round, T-shaped saddle ideal for riders with good pelvic mobility, comes in a 245 x 137 mm size and two versions: Open version with the PAS (Perineal Area System) central cut-out and a Closed version with the Active Base system.

The Nago PAS NDR, thanks to its wider patented cut-out, reduces pressure on soft tissue, tendons, and blood vessels, ensuring healthy blood flow throughout the ride. It features 3mm extra padding made of two independent sections of next-gen variable-density foam for excellent support and comfort.

The closed version uses a three-part structure with independent sections. Underneath the center section lies Prologo’s Active Base system: a central cut-out in the saddle base that combines the support of a closed saddle with the pressure relief of an open base.

The New Dimension R2 NDR

The Dimension R2 NDR is a flat saddle with a V-shape ergonomic profile and advanced anatomical center. It’s the evolution of the previous model, now with a wider nose and a flatter shape. This compact saddle (245 x 143 mm) is only available in the PAS version and translates the performance of its road version into an off-road application—offering light weight and comfort even in aggressive, aerodynamic positions and during maximum power output.

Scratch NDR PAS: The Open Version of the XC Round Saddle

Another major release is the open version of the iconic round Scratch NDR saddle, already used by champions such as Tom Pidcock and Simon Yates. This T-shaped saddle (250 x 140 mm) offers comfort and performance, making it ideal also for riders with limited pelvic flexibility. It includes the innovative PAS (Perineal Area System) central cut-out to reduce pressure peaks.
