Akero R 160

Akero R 160 is the wider version of the comfortable and sustainable saddle suitable for all cyclists.

The new Prologo All-Road line, with its saddles made from recycled materials, is instead aimed at all cyclists more focused on comfort, fun, and well-being. An audience looking for a comfortable and versatile saddle, suitable for use on various terrains, from urban commuting to road, from gravel to less extreme off-road.

Anatomical shape

T-shaped saddle that guarantees greater freedom of movement thanks to a wider seating area. The rear anatomical center allows the cyclist to easily change position by using the entire length of the saddle. The semi-round ergonomic shape makes Akero ideal for cyclists with average pelvic rotation flexibility. 

The 160 mm wide version features extra padding and is designed for cyclists with a high body mass index (BMI), who can benefit from the additional padding for better weight distribution, or for cyclists seeking an even more comfortable and cozy saddle.

Technologies

The saddle is equipped with the Active Base system, a padded cover without a cut-out, which allows pressure to be distributed over a larger surface, placed on a base that still features the central cut-out.

The new Active line features padding mainly focused on comfort, and
a unisex shape that adapts well to various uses both on road and off-road.

Environmental attention is another common point of the saddles in the new Active line; the PP plastic base and the new steel rail are in fact made partially from recycled materials. An eco-sustainability choice that does not compromise the quality and durability of the products.

Base and Rail

The base is made of reinforced recycled Nylon, while the rail is made of RE-steel, a recycled steel that ensures comfort and durability.
