Dimension R2 153

Dimension R2 153 is the wide version of the new high performance ergonomic saddle from Prologo which is part of the high range of the Dimension family, one of the most appreciated on the market in recent years.

A multidisciplinary saddle with compact dimensions of 245x153mm, perfect for road, dirt and XC/Marathon mountain bike use, designed for the most demanding professionals and amateurs, always looking for maximum performance and top-of-the-range components.

Prologo's continuous research for maximum performance, combined with the continuous improvement of the design and materials used, has allowed us to further innovate an already cutting-edge saddle and create the lightest Dimension 153 ever. This new saddle in fact weighs just 165 grams.

Anatomical shape

The V-shape ensures reduced movement and more precise positioning on the saddle surface. The advanced anatomical center makes it easier to sit in the most front part of the saddle. The flat anatomical shape of this saddle, which favors an even more advanced and aerodynamic riding position, makes it ideal for those who have excellent pelvic flexibility.

The 153 mm wide version is characterized by a wider seat and more padding, guaranteeing and improving comfort. It is the perfect choice for those who have a wider pelvis or who need better weight distribution. Dimension R2 153 has 2mm more foam padding than the standard version.

Technologies

The Dimension R2 153 features a new, completely redesigned tip, with a width of 40 mm, 6% wider than the previous model, and with a more rounded side profile. The new design has been studied to further increase the comfort of the saddle, especially in the phases of maximum push on the pedals.

The PAS channel (wider and deeper than the standard version) eliminates numbness and reduces compression of soft tissues, tendons, and vessels improving blood flow in the pelvic area. The increased padding (+2mm) provides excellent comfort especially over long distances. 

The new EVA foam has allowed the thickness of the padding in the back to be reduced. This reduction in padding made it possible to reduce the overall weight, while maintaining the support and comfort of the saddle unchanged.

Base and Rail

The rail can be in Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber) composed of carbon fiber, Kevlar and aluminum filaments, ideal for cyclists looking for maximum rigidity and lightness, or in Tirox (light alloy steel) with excellent vibration absorption. The base is made of long fiber carbon for Nack rails or injected carbon for Tirox rails. Materials that offer an excellent compromise between rigidity and comfort.
