Nago R4
The NAGO R4 is a high-performance, multidisciplinary saddle designed to meet the needs of professional riders. Refined through “MyOwn Pressure Map” testing, this saddle is built to satisfy all cyclists looking for maximum performance and long-ride comfort.
The Nago R4 (Redesign 4) is the evolution of the iconic NAGO saddle—originally launched by Prologo in 2008 and winner of a Giro d’Italia and numerous Monument Classics over the years.
Anatomical Shape
The T-shape design ensures greater freedom of movement thanks to a wider seating area. The rear-positioned anatomical center allows the rider to easily change positions and take full advantage of the saddle’s length. Its semi-round ergonomic shape makes the NAGO R4 ideal for cyclists with medium pelvic rotation flexibility, while the narrow width of just 137 mm suits riders with moderate ischial bone spacing.
Technologies
The closed version of the NAGO R4 features three fully independent sections, made with next-generation variable-density foams to provide the right support and comfort throughout every phase of pedaling. Under the central section lies the Active Base system by Prologo: a cut-out in the base, designed to combine the benefits of a closed saddle—offering a wider contact surface—with the comfort advantages of an open-base design.
Base and Rails
The long-fiber carbon base and Nack rail (nano carbon fiber) make the saddle lighter, stiffer, and more efficient. The version with injected carbon base and Tirox rail (light alloy steel), offers an excellent balance of weight and durability, with greater vibration absorption and slightly less stiffness.
