Nago R4 PAS 147
The NAGO R4 PAS 147 is the open, multidisciplinary, and high-performance saddle designed for the needs of professionals. Perfected through the "Pressure Map MyOwn" tests, this saddle meets the requirements of all cyclists seeking maximum performance and comfort even on long rides.
This 147 mm wide saddle is the PAS channel version of the Nago R4, the evolution of the iconic NAGO, the Prologo saddle born in 2008 and already winner over the years of a Giro d'Italia and numerous Classics.
Anatomical shape
T-shaped saddle that ensures greater freedom of movement thanks to a wider seating area. The rear anatomical center allows the cyclist to easily vary position by using the entire length of the saddle. The semi-round ergonomic shape makes the NAGO R4 ideal for cyclists with medium pelvic rotation flexibility, while the 147 mm width makes it suitable for cyclists with a wider ischial bone distance, who therefore require a wider support base on the saddle.
Compared to the 137mm NAGO R4 PAS, the 147 version features 10 mm more padding on the sides and 3 mm on the top, and is designed for cyclists with a high body mass index (BMI), who can benefit from the increased padding for better weight distribution, or for cyclists seeking an even more comfortable and cozy saddle.
Technologies
The open version of the NAGO R4 features 2 completely independent separate sections, made with next-generation variable-density foams, to guarantee excellent support and the right comfort throughout all phases of pedaling. The PAS central channel - Perineal Area System is specially designed to eliminate pressure peaks and numbness, improving blood flow.
Base and Rail
The rail can be made of Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber) composed of carbon fiber, Kevlar, and aluminum filaments, ideal for cyclists seeking maximum rigidity and lightness, or in Tirox (light alloy steel) with excellent vibration absorption. The base is made of long-fiber carbon for rails in Nack or injected carbon for the rail in Tirox. Materials that offer an excellent compromise between rigidity and comfort.
