Dimension R2 153 AGX

Dimension R2 AGX 153 is the wide version of Prologo's new flat and V-shaped gravel saddle. This new model, dedicated to off-road riding, incorporates all the improvements made to the Dimension R2, the flagship product of one of the most appreciated saddle families on the market in recent years.

AGX, acronym for Adventure - Gravel - Cyclocross, is the line of ergonomic saddles dedicated to the gravel and all-road world, designed to ensure the right balance between performance and comfort on every type of terrain, even for long distances.

Compared to traditional models, AGX saddles feature a more flexible base made with next-generation materials, and extra padding made of low-density foams.

These features ensure better shock and vibration absorption, without limiting or compromising power transfer even when riding off-road.

Anatomical shape

The V-shape ensures reduced movement and a more precise positioning on the saddle surface. The advanced anatomical center facilitates sitting in the most forward part of the saddle. The flat anatomical shape of this saddle, which promotes an even more forward and aerodynamic riding position, makes it ideal for those with excellent pelvic flexibility.

The wide 153 mm version features a wider seat and more padding, ensuring and improving comfort. It is the perfect choice for those with a wider pelvis or who need better weight distribution. Dimension R2 AGX 153 has 5mm more foam padding compared to the standard version.

Technologies

Prologo's 3D Slide Control technology improves grip and rider stability, helping maintain the correct position on the saddle, even when tackling off-road sections. 

The Dimension R2 AGX 153 features a completely redesigned nose, 40 mm wide, 30% wider than the previous model, with a more rounded lateral profile. The new design was developed to further increase saddle comfort, especially during maximum pedaling effort.

The PAS channel (wider and deeper compared to the standard version) eliminates numbness and reduces compression of soft tissues, tendons, and vessels, improving blood flow in the pelvic area. The increased padding provides excellent comfort especially on long distances. 

Base and Rail

The rail can be made of Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber) composed of carbon fiber, kevlar, and aluminum filaments, ideal for cyclists seeking maximum stiffness and lightness, or in Tirox (light alloy steel) with excellent vibration absorption. The base is made of long fiber carbon for Nack rails or injected carbon for Tirox rails. Materials that offer an excellent compromise between stiffness and comfort.
