Dimension R2 NDR

Dimension R2 NDR is the new version of the flat saddle specifically designed and developed for off-road use. This redesigned saddle ensures absolute comfort and high performance, making it perfectly suitable for road cycling as well. Its ergonomic shape, combined with reduced weight, makes it highly versatile and suitable for all disciplines — with no distinction between men and women.

Dimension R2 NDR has been developed and is used by some of the world’s top professional teams in both cross-country and marathon mountain biking, as well as road cycling. It fully meets the needs of all types of cyclists.

Anatomical Shape

The 3 mm additional padding provides greater vibration absorption, while the rounded seating area supports the rider in the natural rotation of the pelvis. The nose, wider and shorter (35 mm shorter than traditional saddles), eliminates numbness and pressure peaks during maximum power phases.

The V-shape of the Dimension R2 NDR allows for more precise positioning on the saddle surface. The forward-positioned anatomical center supports riding in a more advanced position. The wider seating area (143 mm width) enables better distribution of body weight. The saddle’s flat anatomical shape encourages a more forward and aerodynamic position, making it ideal for riders with excellent pelvic flexibility.

Technologies

The nose of the Dimension R2 NDR is wider and flatter than the previous model and features Grip Cover technology — a texture with parallel micro-lines that enhances stability in the saddle at every stage of the pedal stroke and on any terrain. These features make this saddle particularly appreciated by both professionals and road cyclists seeking high performance without sacrificing comfort.

Thanks to the wider PAS (Perineal Area System) channel, the Dimension R2 NDR reduces pressure on soft tissues, tendons, and blood vessels, ensuring proper blood flow.
The combination of a short nose and PAS channel ensures blood flow and pressure relief, delivering comfort even in aerodynamic positions or during maximum power output.

Base and Rails

The rail options include: Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber): made of carbon fiber, Kevlar, and aluminum filaments – ideal for riders seeking maximum stiffness and lightness, or Tirox (light alloy steel): offers excellent vibration absorption and a great weight-to-strength ratio.

The base is made of: Long carbon fiber for the Nack rail version – offering an ideal balance of lightness, stiffness, and comfort. Injected carbon fiber for the Tirox version.
