Proxim W400 is a saddle from the Proxim range suitable for all types of cyclists, making it ideal for both e-bikes and muscle bikes. This comfortable and resistant product is perfect both for off-road use but also for daily commuting thanks to its generous dimensions and expertly designed padding.

Ergonomic shape

Proxim W400 is available in double width: 153mm (for more sporty use) and 163mm (for more trekking, leisure and commuting use); thanks to its reduced length (255mm) the contact points and pressure peaks in the perineal area are reduced.

The nose of both versions of the W400 is wider and inclined downwards to offer more support surface and greater freedom of movement when you want to pedal at the tip of the saddle.

Technologies

The MSS – Multi Sector System provides different mapped and separated zones on the saddle, each composed of different interactive foams and separate single cell padding. The "islands" work autonomously, adapting to all the positions that the cyclist can assume while pedaling.

The Active Base System technology involves the use of a base with a hole for the benefit of excellent pressure relief, greater pressure distribution thanks to a greater support surface and guarantees protection for the cyclist against water/mud during the most critical weather conditions.

The new foams, softer and larger, used for the padding of the W400 saddle guarantee a high level of comfort allowing the cyclist to spend long rides sitting in the saddle (1cm thickness for the 153mm version; 1.7cm thickness for the 163mm)

The saddle is equipped with a rear "handle" to facilitate movement of the bicycle as well as graphics with reflective materials to improve safety.

Bases and Rails

The base is made of carbon-filled nylon and has increased thicknesses to increase flexibility and resistance, fundamental characteristics for gravity use. The T2.0 rail is made of chrome-molybdenum alloy steel, an excellent compromise between mechanics and technical resistance.

The version with recycled steel rail (Re-Steel) and recycled reinforced nylon base represents a valid eco-sustainability choice that guarantees comfort, quality and durability of the product.
