Dimension R2

The Dimension R2 is Prologo's new ergonomic high-performance saddle that is part of the top range of the Dimension family, one of the most popular on the market in recent years.

It's never easy to redesign a top model such as the Dimension, but Prologo's quest for maximum performance, combined with the continuous improvement of the design and materials used, has allowed it to further innovate an already cutting-edge saddle, producing the lightest Dimension ever, weighing just 139 grams, a 13% reduction over the previous Dimension 143 model.

A multi-disciplinary saddle with compact dimensions of 245x143mm, perfect for road and XC/ Marathon use, designed for the most demanding professionals and amateurs, always on the lookout for maximum performance and top-of-the-range components.

The Dimension R2 features a completely redesigned tip, with a width of 40 mm, 30% wider than the previous model, and a more rounded side profile.

Both the tip and the central part of the saddle now have a flatter surface, to favor an even more forward and aerodynamic riding position, allowing the saddle to be used to its full length. The new design has been studied to further increase the comfort of the saddle, especially when pushing hard on the pedals.

For the development of this saddle, a new material was also introduced: the new EVA foam that made it possible to reduce the thickness of the padding at the rear by 1mm, 20% less than the previous model. This reduction in padding has made it possible to reduce the overall weight while maintaining the support and comfort of the saddle.

The base is made of injected Long Fiber Carbon, a material that offers an excellent compromise between rigidity and comfort. The rail is in Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber) composed of carbon fiber, Kevlar and aluminium filaments, ideal for cyclists seeking maximum rigidity and lightness.
