Dimension 143 is the saddle chosen to represent the 112th edition of the Tour de France, one of Prologo's best sellers widely appreciated for its ergonomic design and compact dimensions. The special Tour de France edition stands out for a dedicated graphic that features the Grande Boucle logo on the rear part of the saddle and on the entire cover, with an elegant tone-on-tone glossy and matte finish. Another distinctive element is Prologo's "Big Ó", the white logo positioned camera-facing, which has characterized the saddles used by the numerous supported teams for many years.
Anatomical shape
The V-shape of Dimension 143 ensures a more precise positioning on the saddle surface. The advanced anatomical center facilitates sitting further forward on the saddle. The wider seating area (width 143 mm) allows for better distribution of body weight. The flat anatomical shape of this saddle, which promotes an even more forward and aerodynamic riding position, makes it ideal for those with excellent pelvic flexibility.
Technologies
Dimension Tour de France features a nose that is 35 mm shorter than the previous model. The PAS - Perineal Area System channel open in the middle of the saddle is designed to eliminate pressure peaks and numbness.
The combination of a short nose and the PAS system ensures blood flow and pressure relief, guaranteeing comfort even in aerodynamic positions or during maximum effort phases.
Base and Rail
The rail can be made of Tirox (light alloy steel) with excellent vibration absorption, or also in T4.0 (special chrome-molybdenum steel), for maximum mechanical resistance. The base is made of injected Carbon, a material that offers an excellent compromise between stiffness and comfort, for the model with Tirox rail. The reinforced Nylon base, more oriented towards comfort, is instead present in the version with T4.0 rail.
