Dimension R2 153 is the wider version of Prologo’s new high-performance ergonomic saddle, positioned in the premium range of the Dimension family—one of the most popular collections on the market in recent years.

This is a multidisciplinary saddle with compact dimensions of 245x153mm, ideal for road, gravel, and XC/Marathon mountain biking. It is designed for both professionals and demanding enthusiasts who are always in search of top performance and high-end components.

Thanks to Prologo’s continuous pursuit of maximum performance, along with constant improvements in design and materials, the brand has further innovated an already cutting-edge product to create the lightest Dimension 153 saddle ever, weighing just 165 grams.

Anatomical Shape

The V-shape design ensures reduced movement and a more precise position on the saddle. The advanced anatomical center allows riders to sit further forward. Its flat anatomical profile, which supports a more aggressive and aerodynamic riding posture, makes it especially suitable for those with excellent pelvic flexibility.

The wide 153mm version features a broader seating area and increased padding, enhancing overall comfort. It’s the ideal choice for riders with a wider pelvis or those seeking better weight distribution. The Dimension R2 153 has 2mm more foam padding than the standard version.

Technologies

The Dimension R2 153 features a completely redesigned nose, now 40mm wide—30% wider than the previous model—with a more rounded lateral profile. This new design further enhances comfort, particularly during intense pedaling efforts.

The PAS channel (wider and deeper compared to the standard version) eliminates numbness and reduces pressure on soft tissues, tendons, and blood vessels, improving blood flow in the pelvic area. The increased padding (+2mm) delivers exceptional comfort, especially on long rides.

A new EVA foam has allowed for a reduction in padding thickness in the rear section. This decrease in padding helps reduce the overall weight without compromising support or comfort.

Base and Rails

The saddle is available with two rail options: Nack: made from a blend of carbon fiber, Kevlar, and aluminum filaments—ideal for cyclists seeking maximum stiffness and minimal weight. Tirox: made from a light alloy steel, offering excellent vibration absorption.
The base is made from long-fiber carbon for the Nack rail version, or injected carbon for the Tirox version. Both materials strike a strong balance between stiffness and comfort.
