Dimension 143 is the saddle chosen to represent the 112th edition of the Tour de France — one of Prologo’s best-selling models, widely appreciated for its ergonomic design and compact size. It is an ideal choice for all cycling disciplines, tested and developed in collaboration with some of the world’s top professional teams, and designed to suit all riders, both men and women.

The Tour de France special edition stands out thanks to its custom graphics, featuring the Tour de France logo on the rear and full cover of the saddle, enhanced by an elegant tone-on-tone glossy and matte finish. Another distinctive element is Prologo’s “Big Ó”, the iconic white logo placed in a camera-facing position — a hallmark of the saddles used by many of the professional teams supported by the brand.

Anatomical Shape

The V-shape of the Dimension Tour de France ensures a more precise position on the saddle surface. The advanced anatomical center makes it easier for the rider to sit further forward on the saddle. A wider seating area (143 mm) allows for better bodyweight distribution. The flat anatomical shape of this saddle supports a more aggressive and aerodynamic riding position, making it ideal for cyclists with excellent pelvic flexibility.

Technologies

Dimension Tour de France features a nose that is 35 mm shorter than the previous model. The open PAS (Perineal Area System) channel in the center of the saddle is designed to eliminate pressure peaks and numbness.  The combination of a short nose and the PAS system ensures optimal blood flow and pressure relief, providing comfort even in aerodynamic positions or during intense efforts.

Base and Rails

The rail is available in Tirox (Light alloy steel); offering an excellent balance between weight and vibration absorption or T4.0 (Special Chromoly steel); offering maximum mechanical strength. The base is made from Injected carbon fiber for the Tirox versions, delivering the best compromise between stiffness and comfort. The Reinforced Nylon base is for the T4.0 version, focused more on comfort.
