Scratch EVA is Prologo's first ergonomic saddle dedicated to women.

This T-shaped saddle with a rounded ergonomic shape has a racing DNA and is specifically designed for the female body anatomy. Created to support the performance of both WorldTour champions and the most demanding female cyclists, seeking maximum comfort even on long rides.

Specific anatomical shape for the female body

Scratch EVA partly takes the T-shape form of the Scratch M5, a unisex multi-disciplinary saddle that has already distinguished itself at the highest levels on road and off-road, winning in recent years: two Tour de France, the Monument Classics, and several Cross Country World Cup races.

However, the anatomical shape of this saddle has been redesigned to better fit the female body, moving the anatomical center of the saddle forward by 5mm. This solution allows the seating position to be advanced, thus increasing the support surface for the female pelvis, which is generally wider than the male pelvis.

Scratch EVA is highly performant but even more comfortable, with compact dimensions (250 x 140mm) that allow good freedom of movement to pedal with maximum efficiency in every position, from the most relaxed to the most aggressive.

Variable density padding and central channel

The name EVA, besides a clear reference to the first woman, also derives from the padding material, made with variable density foams depending on the different areas of the saddle.

In the rear part, where the ischial bones rest, the padding is thicker and made with high-density foam, capable of offering the greatest possible support. In the central and front parts, where soft tissues rest, the padding is thinner and made with low-density foam to minimize pressure peaks.

This difference in thickness and density creates a channel in the center of the saddle, with a large and extremely soft support surface. A targeted design choice to adapt and optimize the seating based on female anatomy, thus eliminating numbness, pain, and possible reductions in blood flow.

Under the central channel, the Scratch EVA also features Prologo's characteristic Active Base System: a base with a hole in the center, which further relieves pressure and thus increases comfort during pedaling.

The front end of the saddle has finally been widened by about 10mm and tilted downward to ensure a good support surface even in situations such as steep climbs, where it is necessary to pedal sitting on the tip.

Bases and Rails for different needs

Like most Prologo saddles, the Scratch EVA is also available in multiple versions to adapt to different needs.

For cyclists more focused on performance, who seek a rigid saddle and maximum lightness, the version with Nack rails (Nano Carbon Fiber) made of carbon fiber, kevlar, and aluminum filaments is available. A rail already widely adopted by Prologo for all top-range models, which reduces the overall weight of the saddle to 183 grams.

For those who instead seek greater comfort, the second version is available, weighing 232 grams, with TiroX rails made of lightweight alloy steel, a material with an excellent balance between weight and strength, which gives the saddle less rigidity and superior vibration absorption.
