PREDATOR 01TRI CPC is the version with a wider nose of the new integrated saddle for time trial and triathlon equipped with CPC - Connect Power Control, the innovative technology patented by Prologo for the cycling world. This revolutionary saddle, extremely light and aerodynamic, is the result of a close synergy with the Visma | Lease a Bike team and the IRONMAN world champion Sam Laidlow.

The valuable feedback received from riders, technicians, and performance managers allowed the Italian company to further develop an already cutting-edge saddle, designed starting from CFD simulation software and perfected in a wind tunnel by relating the saddle to the bike and the athlete themselves. The marginal gains that this saddle can offer have been confirmed by specific tests in a velodrome under controlled conditions.

The advantages of Connect Power Control technology

On the cover of the PREDATOR 01TRI CPC, the characteristic nanostructure of the Connect Power Control technology, patented and introduced by Prologo in the cycling world but already used in military and Formula 1 fields, is clearly visible. This system guarantees very high performance and comfort through vibration absorption, grip, and position stability. 

Thanks to its nanostructure, the special 3D conical and hollow polymer reduces muscle fatigue and facilitates airflow by lowering the temperature in the contact area. The CPC, moreover, positioned in strategic points, protects muscles, tendons, and soft tissues from stresses deriving "from the road," ensuring its performance in every climatic condition.

Aerodynamics and pure power

The sinuous side wings on the sides of the base hide and shield the rail and seatpost clamp from the air, while the rear part, with such a pronounced and sharp shape, channels the dirty airflows coming from the cyclist’s back parallel to the road, significantly reducing the drag coefficient.

The revolutionary carbon rail, a real plate perfectly integrated into the base, features a flat surface much wider than traditional round or oval section rails. An innovative and patented solution that guarantees maximum power transfer and improves handling and connection between the seatpost and the cyclist in all phases of pedaling, allowing the athlete to perceive even the smallest sensation transmitted by the frame. 

PREDATOR 01TRI CPC is a modular saddle that combines technical innovation and attention to environmental impact. The integrated plate and base are in fact specially designed to be separated from each other. In this way, it is possible to replace, repair, and recycle the various parts of the saddle more easily at the end of the product’s life cycle.

Unlimited comfort and lightness

The ergonomic shape of this V-shape saddle (260x110 mm) has been designed to facilitate maximum pelvic rotation of the athlete, allowing them to assume and maintain a highly aerodynamic position for longer. The seat of the PREDATOR 01TRI CPC, 170 mm long, features a surface with enhanced EVA padding to provide maximum support. 

The wide central PAS channel, which runs along the entire length of the support area, helps reduce pressure peaks on soft tissues, improving comfort. The nose of the saddle is a full 60 mm wide to ensure a larger support surface and thus better comfort. This wider version is recommended for triathletes who enjoy tackling longer time trial events where they need to stay seated on the saddle for extended periods.

This saddle, so performant, comfortable, and aerodynamic, weighs only 163 grams, making it the lightest in its category.
