Akero R PAS 160
Prologo has always been synonymous with high performance, offering a wide range of saddles developed to meet the needs of both professional athletes and competitive-minded amateurs.
The new Prologo Active line, featuring saddles made from recycled materials, is instead designed for cyclists who prioritize comfort, enjoyment, and well-being. It's aimed at riders seeking a comfortable and versatile saddle for use across various terrainsβfrom urban commuting to road riding, from gravel to light off-road trails.
Anatomical Shape
The T-shape saddle design provides greater freedom of movement thanks to a wider seating area. The rear-positioned anatomical center allows the rider to easily shift position, utilizing the full length of the saddle. Its semi-round ergonomic shape makes the Akero ideal for cyclists with medium pelvic rotation flexibility.
The 160 mm wide version features increased padding and is designed for cyclists with a high Body Mass Index (BMI), who can benefit from the extra cushioning for better weight distribution. It's also ideal for riders seeking an even more comfortable and supportive saddle.
Technologies
This saddle features PAS technology β Perineal Area System. An open channel in the center of the saddle is designed to eliminate pressure peaks and numbness.
The new Active line offers padding focused primarily on comfort and a unisex shape, making it well-suited for both road and off-road use.
Environmental responsibility is another key feature of the Active line. The PP plastic base and the new steel rail are made from partially recycled materialsβan eco-conscious choice that does not compromise product quality or durability.
Base and Rail
The base is made from recycled reinforced nylon, while the rail is made of RE-steel, a recycled steel that ensures both comfort and strength.
