The front section of Altius is wide and flattened, ensuring maximum comfort during moments of greater power output and effort in the saddle. The Active Base System technology — a hole in the saddle base covered by a soft padding layer — provides a larger support surface and protection from water and mud, while keeping the soft tissue area free from pressure peaks.
The rear rise
The major innovation introduced with the Altius model is the “rise” at the rear of the saddle. This elevated section is designed to provide support and stability when climbing and to prevent annoying sliding on the saddle, allowing the cyclist to remain in the correct position at all times without distraction.
