After accompanying the best time trial specialists for years, Prologo's Tgale TT saddle is renewed with a revolutionary design, the result of aerodynamic studies and track tests, ready to support professionals and the most demanding cyclists in their time trial challenges.

Designed using CFD aerodynamic simulation software, the new Tgale was developed and perfected thanks to valuable feedback from great champions like Filippo Ganna, Tadej Pogacar, Joshua Tarling, Stefan Küng, and Stefan Bissegger.

Anatomical shape

The study of professionals' positions allowed analyzing the saddle's seating area used during time trials, which is actually shorter than the entire length of the saddle, which must still comply with the dimensions imposed by the UCI regulations.

From these studies and tests, and in full compliance with UCI rules, Prologo's intuition and revolution arise: to create a high-performance time trial saddle with variable padding that is thicker at the nose and in the central section, where the cyclist actually positions themselves, and reduced to the extreme in the rear part.

Technologies

The saddle's nose, completely flat, features padding increased by over 20mm to offer greater support and comfort during pedaling in the maximum power position. In the central part, the padding tapers to 18mm up to a cut-out, a "step" in the rear part that is actually not used by the cyclist, where the padding drastically reduces to just a few millimeters.

The cut-out in the padding between the front and rear sections allowed achieving a dual objective. A reduction in the overall weight of the saddle and improved aerodynamics given by the thinner rear shape, which channels the airflow coming from the cyclist's back parallel to the road.

The base, made of Long Fiber Injected Carbon, has been thinned by over 5mm and significantly contributes to reducing the saddle's overall weight, which at 234 grams in the CPC Version is 8% lighter than the previous model.

To further enhance performance, Tgale TT uses CPC (Connect Power Control) technology, the patented system with three-dimensional conical nanostructures that improve grip, vibration absorption, and maximize cyclist stability, helping them maintain the most aerodynamic position for as long as possible.
