The new DROP 01 continues to focus on the two key requirements of this category: protection against water and cold, and the ability to maintain a good feel for the bike’s controls. The result is a technical glove designed to combine waterproof protection, an ergonomic fit, and precise control, with several improvements over the previous generation. 

3 mm Neoprene and Heat-Sealed Seams: Protection Starts with the Materials 

The DROP 01 is made from 3 mm neoprene, a material selected to provide a barrier against rain and low temperatures. It allows cyclists to ride in dry conditions at temperatures as low as -5°C and in rainy conditions at temperatures around 10°C. 

Heat-sealed seams help prevent water from entering the glove, improving hand protection on rides in adverse weather conditions. 

The construction is designed to meet the demands of both road and off-road cycling, where keeping hands protected and functional is essential for maintaining precise control of the handlebars and bike controls. 

Ergonomic Fit and Precise Control 

One of the key features of the DROP 01 is its balance between protection and control. The stretchy material and anatomical design provide a close, secure fit that follows the natural shape of the hand and moves with it throughout the ride. 

The relatively thin 3 mm neoprene construction also helps preserve tactile sensitivity, an important requirement for operating brakes and shifters precisely, even in the rain. The aim is to provide a reliable interface between rider and bike without sacrificing the comfort needed for longer rides.
