For years we have studied the anatomy of the female body, in close collaboration with the best UCI Worldteams and UCI Continental Teams for women, with a single ambitious goal: to ensure that every woman has a ride like a true champion.

Prologo saddles have always been designed to best meet the needs of all cyclists, both men and women. However, the commitment to researching increasingly high-performance products and the growing attention to the needs of female cycling has driven us to create a new model of ergonomic saddle that is even more specific for women.

Months of research and field testing, supported by 5 professional women teams and the direct involvement of Marta Cavalli (FDJ SUEZ Futuroscope), have allowed for the refinement of the new saddle day by day, leading to the final success: Marta's victories at the Amstel Gold Race and the Flèche Wallonne. From these premises and these victories, the new Prologo Scratch EVA is born, an ergonomic saddle with a racing DNA, designed to support the performance of the champions of the World Tour and the most demanding female cyclists, in search of maximum comfort.
THE NEW PROLOGUE SCRATCH EVA

Specific anatomical shape for the female body

The new Scratch EVA partially takes on the T-shape of the Scratch M5, a unisex multi-disciplinary saddle that has already distinguished itself at the highest levels by winning on road and off-road.

The anatomical shape of the new Scratch EVA has been redesigned to better fit the female body, moving the "anatomical center" of the saddle forward by 5mm. This solution allows for a more forward seating position, thus increasing the support surface for the female pelvis, which is generally wider than the male pelvis.

The result? A new saddle that is always highly performing, but even more comfortable.

Variable density padding and central channel

The name EVA, in addition to a clear reference to the first woman, also derives from the material of the padding, made with EVA foams of varying density based on the different areas of the saddle:

at the back, where the ischial bones rest, the padding is thicker and made with high-density foam, capable of providing the maximum support possible;

In the central and front part, where the soft fabrics rest, there is instead a thinner padding made with low-density foam to minimize pressure peaks.

This difference in thickness and density creates a channel in the center of the saddle, with a wide support surface that is extremely soft. A targeted design choice to adapt and optimize the seating based on female anatomy, thus eliminating numbness, pain, and possible reductions in blood flow. The central channel of the Scratch EVA combined with the Active Base System, a base with a hole in the center, further relieves pressure and thus increases comfort during pedaling.

The front end of the saddle has finally been widened by about 10mm and tilted downwards, to ensure a good support surface even in situations, such as steeper climbs, where it is necessary to pedal while sitting at the tip.

Basic and Rail for various needs

For cyclists more focused on performance, who seek a rigid saddle and the utmost lightness, the version with Nack rails (Nano Carbon Fiber) made of carbon fiber, Kevlar, and aluminum filaments is available, reducing the overall weight of the saddle to 183 g.

For those who seek greater comfort, the second version is available, weighing 232g, with TiroX rails made of lightweight alloy steel, a material that offers an excellent balance between weight and strength, providing the saddle with reduced stiffness and superior vibration absorption.
