Shapes and Materials
The Choice saddle, featuring an elegant design and minimal graphics, recalls the name of Prologo’s first interchangeable model launched in 2007. Today, this concept is reinterpreted in a highly innovative way: Choice is the first integrated racing saddle designed to minimize aerodynamic drag coefficients.
The product was developed using advanced CFD simulation software and refined in a wind tunnel, ensuring unprecedented aerodynamic efficiency. Its futuristic shapes, defined also through pressure tests with the Pressure Map MyOwn system, are combined with next-generation variable-density foam, ensuring the perfect balance between comfort and performance throughout every pedal stroke.
Ergonomics are engineered to suit the high speeds of contemporary cycling and the new frame geometries, allowing the rider to maintain an aerodynamic position comfortably for longer. Its compact dimensions (240 × 140 mm in the narrow version and 240 × 147 mm in the wide version), semi-round T-shape design, and lightweight construction of just 152 grams make Choice ideal for those seeking maximum innovation and performance.
Integration and Aerodynamics
A defining feature of Choice is its high aerodynamic efficiency, closely linked to the concept of rail integration. The Nack (nano carbon fiber) rail is completely hidden by the two sinuous lateral side wings, designed to shield frontal airflow and channel it toward the rear of the saddle. The result is an extremely lightweight, aerodynamic, and responsive product in all conditions.
The design goes beyond the individual component, aiming to optimize the entire system of rider, saddle, and bike. Thanks to a reduced stack and optimized connection between rail and base, the saddle provides greater structural stiffness, translating into more efficient power transfer and a more precise, controlled ride—especially on technical sections and demanding descents.
Modularity
Another revolutionary aspect of Choice is its modularity, a feature previously unseen in a saddle of this category. Using just two screws, the rail can be separated from the carbon shell, allowing individual components to be replaced if damaged. This solution introduces a more sustainable approach without compromising quality, performance, or structural integrity.
