Description

The NAGO R4 147 (Redesign 4) is the evolution of the iconic NAGO, the Prologo saddle born in 2008 that has already won a Giro d’Italia and numerous Classics over the years. Designed based on the needs of professional teams supported by Prologo, the new saddle has been perfected thanks to the “Pressure Map MyOwn” tests, to meet the needs of all cyclists seeking maximum performance and comfort even on long rides.

Compact dimensions with a length of 245 mm and T-shape form, with a slightly forward anatomical center, to offer good freedom of movement on the saddle and maximize pedaling efficiency in all positions. The semi-round ergonomic shape also makes the new NAGO R4 147 ideal for cyclists with average flexibility in terms of pelvic rotation.

Compared to the NAGO R4 137mm, the 147 version features 10 mm more padding on the sides and 3 mm on the top, and is suitable for:

• cyclists with a wider ischial bone distance, therefore requiring a wider support base on the saddle;
• cyclists with a high body mass index (BMI), who can benefit from the increased padding for better weight distribution;
• cyclists looking for an even more comfortable and cozy saddle.
  

The closed NAGO R4 147 features 3 completely independent separate sections, made with next-generation variable density foams, to ensure excellent support and the right comfort during all phases of pedaling. Under the central section, the Prologo Active Base system: a base perforated in the center, combining the benefits of a closed saddle with a larger support surface, with the advantages of an open base.

The base is made of long fiber carbon, a material that offers an excellent compromise between rigidity and comfort.

Different Rails for Every Type of Cyclist

• Nack Rail (Nano Carbon Fiber) composed of carbon fiber, Kevlar, and aluminum filaments, for cyclists more oriented towards performance seeking maximum stiffness and lightness.
• TiroX Rail made of lightweight alloy steel, a material with an excellent balance between weight and strength, which gives the saddle less rigidity and superior vibration absorption, for those who seek greater comfort.
