The NAGO R4 PAS 147 is the open, high-performance multidisciplinary saddle designed for the needs of professionals. Perfected thanks to the "Pressure Map MyOwn" tests, this saddle is able to satisfy the needs of all cyclists looking for maximum performance and comfort even for long rides.
This 147 mm wide saddle is the version with PAS channel of the Nago R4, the evolution of the iconic NAGO, the Prologo saddle created in 2008 and already winner of a Giro d'Italia and numerous Grand Classics over the years.
Anatomical shape
T-shape saddle that guarantees greater freedom of movement thanks to a larger seating area. The recessed anatomical center allows the cyclist to easily change position using the entire length of the saddle. The ergonomic semi-round shape makes the NAGO R4 ideal for cyclists with medium flexibility of pelvis rotation, while the 147 mm width makes it suitable for cyclists with a wider distance between the ischial bones, who therefore require a wider support base on the saddle.
Compared to the 137mm NAGO R4 PAS, the 147 version features increased padding of 10 mm on the sides and 3 mm in the upper part, and is designed for cyclists with a high body mass index (BMI), who can benefit from the greater padding for better weight distribution, or for cyclists looking for an even more comfortable and convenient saddle.
Technologies
The open version of the NAGO R4 features 2 completely independent separate sections, made with the latest generation foams with variable density, to guarantee excellent support and the right comfort during all phases of pedaling. The PAS - Perineal Area System central channel is specially designed to eliminate pressure peaks and numbness, improving blood flow.
Base and Rail
The rail can be in Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber) composed of carbon fiber, Kevlar and aluminum filaments, ideal for cyclists looking for maximum rigidity and lightness, or in Tirox (light alloy steel) with excellent vibration absorption. The base is made of long fiber carbon for Nack rails or injected carbon for Tirox rails. Materials that offer an excellent compromise between rigidity and comfort.
