NAGO R4 PAS AGX 147

The new Nago R4 PAS AGX 147 is the wide version of Prologo’s semi-round, T-shape gravel saddle, completing the AGX saddle range.

AGX, an acronym for Adventure - Gravel - Cyclocross, is Prologo’s line of ergonomic saddles dedicated to the gravel and all-road world, designed to deliver the perfect balance of performance and comfort on every type of terrain, even over long distances.

Compared to traditional models, AGX saddles feature a more flexible base made from new-generation materials and an additional 3 mm layer of low-density foam padding.

These features ensure improved shock and vibration absorption without limiting or compromising power transfer, even when riding on rough gravel terrain.

Anatomical Shape

The T-shape design provides greater freedom of movement and positioning, while offering enhanced comfort and protection in areas subject to friction. The rearward anatomical center allows the rider to easily change position by making full use of the saddle’s length. With its 147 mm width, it is designed for riders with a wider sit bone distance who require a broader support platform.

Compared to the 137 mm Nago R4 AGX, the 147 mm version features an additional 10 mm of padding on the sides and 3 mm on the top surface. It is designed for riders with a higher Body Mass Index (BMI), who benefit from improved weight distribution thanks to the increased padding, as well as for cyclists looking for an even more comfortable riding experience.

The semi-round anatomical shape of the Nago R4 AGX provides additional lumbar support, helping riders with limited pelvic mobility maintain a stable riding position.

Technologies

The Multi Sector System features multiple mapped and separated zones across the saddle, each composed of different interactive foams and independent single-cell padding.

Prologo’s 3D Slide Control technology enhances grip and rider stability, helping maintain the correct riding position even when tackling off-road sections.

The PAS (Perineal Area System) central channel reduces pressure peaks and numbness by improving blood flow. Its ergonomic design, combined with variable-density foams, eliminates pressure points in the perineal area.

Base and Rails

The saddle is available with either a Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber) rail, made from carbon fiber, Kevlar and aluminum filaments, ideal for riders seeking maximum stiffness and lightness, or a TiroX rail (light alloy steel), offering excellent vibration absorption. The base is made from long-fiber carbon for the Nack version, or injected carbon composite for the TiroX version, providing the ideal balance of stiffness and comfort.
