Prologo has created the ultimate TT and Triathlon saddle:
T-GALE is a flat saddle designed for maximum performance during time trials and triathlon races. Wind-tunnel tested, this saddle combines highly advanced technologies with a truly unique design. The nose has been shortened by 4.5 cm compared to a standard saddle. An integrated elastomer placed between the base and the padding absorbs shocks and vibrations.
It is the perfect saddle, allowing athletes to express maximum power while maintaining an aerodynamic position for long periods of time.
Technologies
PAS (Perineal Area System) eliminates pressure peaks and numbness in the pelvic area.
The PAS system is developed through a specific foam molding shape that keeps the base intact, ensuring long-lasting durability. PAS works like a traditional saddle cut-out by relieving pressure, but with the advantage of preserving the saddle’s structural integrity, meaning the saddle deforms less over time. This helps maintain pelvic movement even after many kilometers, whereas a deformed saddle restricts pelvic rotation, causing overload of the lumbosacral muscles, particularly the quadratus lumborum. The result is excellent comfort and performance.
Bases & Rails
This saddle is available with: Nack rail: a nano-carbon fiber rail that integrates Kevlar and aluminum filaments, creating an ultra-light structure with reduced deformation compared to standard carbon rails. Tirox rail: a light, stainless steel alloy rail, highly resistant to traction and torsion. Due to its physical properties and low weight, it is used in the aerospace and aeronautical industries. Tirox offers an excellent weight-to-strength ratio and withstands the typical stresses experienced by a bicycle.
