During the Cyclocross World Championships held in Liévin this past weekend, Prologo successfully inaugurated its new collaboration with the Team Visma | Lease a Bike, for which it will serve as Innovation Technical Partner for the next three seasons.
In the icy mud of northern France, Fem Van Empel claimed a stunning World Championship title — her third consecutive victory at just 22 years old — delivering Prologo its first rainbow jersey of 2025. After a breathtaking head-to-head battle with fellow Dutch rider Lucinda Brand, the young star secured her triumph with a powerful sprint down the final straight, crossing the finish line with arms raised for the third time in three years.
In the men's race, Wout Van Aert overcame a challenging start and an early crash during the chaotic first lap that had relegated him to 40th position. Demonstrating remarkable form and an indomitable fighting spirit, the 30-year-old from Herentals steadily passed competitor after competitor to secure a fantastic silver medal. Despite the insurmountable lead of Mathieu Van der Poel, who cruised to victory, Van Aert's remarkable comeback secured his eighth podium at an Elite CX World Championship — his first with Prologo.
Prologo extends its congratulations to these two cyclocross phenoms for their impressive performances during this muddy winter. The brand eagerly looks forward to supporting the Team Visma | Lease a Bike athletes as they transition to the road racing season and showcase their talents in the most prestigious asphalt competitions.
