Prologo conquers the MTB Cross-Country World Cup with Luca Martin and Cannondale Factory Racing

French rider Luca Martin won the 2026 MTB Cross-Country World Cup riding a Prologo saddle, capping off a truly outstanding season. The 24-year-old Cannondale Factory Racing rider, who stepped onto the podium in Lake Placid at the final round of the World Cup, lifted both the XCC (Short Track) and XCO, the Olympic-distance, discipline trophies.

Consistency was the cornerstone of Luca Martin’s fantastic overall victory. He built his success step by step through a long sequence of podium finishes, complemented by two major and decisive victories on the Lenzerheide and La Thuile courses, where he showcased his exceptional class and ability to the world.

Martin relied on his Prologo Nago 3D saddle for maximum comfort and performance and, during the second half of the season, also successfully used the new Mig Air CPC gloves. This ultralight yet highly durable model helped him maintain optimal bike control, thanks in part to the Connect Power Control technology featured on the palm.

The French champion’s World Cup triumph is the result of a truly outstanding team effort, with his Cannondale Factory Racing teammates also playing a key role. Among them were talented young Canadian Cole Punchard and British rider Charlie Aldridge, the reigning European champion and the impressive winner of the final World Cup round on the trails of Lake Placid.
