T GALE PAS
After accompanying the best time trial specialists for years, the Prologo Tgale PAS saddle is renewed with a revolutionary design, the result of aerodynamic studies and track tests, ready to support professionals and the most demanding cyclists in their time trial challenges.
Designed using CFD aerodynamic simulation software, the new Tgale was developed and refined thanks to valuable feedback from great champions like Filippo Ganna, Tadej Pogacar, Joshua Tarling, Stefan Küng, and Stefan Bissegger.
Anatomical shape
The study of professional riders' positions allowed analyzing the seating area of the saddle used during time trials, which is effectively shorter than the entire length of the saddle, which must still comply with UCI regulations.
From these studies and tests, and in full compliance with UCI rules, comes Prologo's insight and revolution: to create a high-performance time trial saddle with variable padding that is thicker at the front tip and central section, where the cyclist actually sits, and drastically reduced at the rear.
The new TGale PAS features a wide 50mm tip and a 10mm more recessed anatomical center, a solution that increases the saddle's front support area and allows greater freedom of movement during the different race phases.
Technologies
In the central part, the padding tapers to 18mm up to a cut-out, a "step" at the rear section that is not used by the cyclist, where the padding drastically reduces to just a few millimeters.
The cut-out in the padding between the front and rear sections has achieved a dual goal: reducing the overall saddle weight and improving aerodynamics with a thinner rear shape that channels airflow from the cyclist's back parallel to the road.
The distinctive feature of the PAS model is the wide central channel running along the entire saddle, with the two sides more padded to further increase cyclist comfort even during pedaling in high-power phases.
To improve cyclist stability and increase grip, while still allowing a fair amount of freedom of movement, the Slide Control system was used instead of CPC technology, with 3D lines positioned only on the saddle's tip.
