The first half of the 2026 Giro d’Italia has been truly satisfying for Prologo and for the 10 teams of which it is a technical partner in this edition of the Corsa Rosa. At the end of the 11th stage, riders using Prologo products had already claimed 5 stage victories and worn the iconic Pink Jersey, symbol of the overall classification leader, for as many as 9 days.

The riders who secured stage wins were the Uruguayan breakaway specialist Guillermo Thomas Silva (XDS Astana - stage 2), the Italian sprinter Davide Ballerini (XDS Astana - stage 6), the Danish phenomenon Jonas Vingegaard (Visma | Lease a Bike - stages 7 and 9), and the Italian time trial champion Filippo Ganna (Netcompany INEOS - stage 10).

The first rider in this edition to allow Prologo to wear the symbol of leadership was Uruguay’s Silva from team XDS Astana, who held it for two stages. Portuguese rider Afonso Eulalio from Bahrain Victorious is still wearing the Pink Jersey after taking it one week ago at the end of stage 5. Both breakthrough riders of this Giro d’Italia were also leading the young rider classification, which awards the White Jersey.

The Blue Jersey, awarded to the leader of the mountains classification, has so far always been worn by a rider sponsored by Prologo. During the first six stages it belonged to Spain’s Diego Pablo Sevilla (Polti-VisitMalta), while since stage 7 it has been on the shoulders of Visma | Lease a Bike leader Jonas Vingegaard.

Beyond the extremely positive results listed above, what stands out at the halfway point of this Corsa Rosa is the great talent and professionalism of all 10 teams using Prologo saddles, bar tapes, or gloves in the first Grand Tour of 2026, a race that has always ignited the passion of cycling fans everywhere.
